Panther G by Stew Langenbeck

Stew put a great deal of time and effort into producing this Tamiya Panther G (Early) of the Hermann Goering  Division set somewhere in East Prussia during the winter of 1944/45.

The Tank: Stew dressed the kit up with the addition of the Verlinden detail set, a metal barrel, wire tow cables, a resin crew heater, an antenna, and Tamiya individual track links, self-adhesive zimmerit and engine screens.

The Figures: are from Lincoln County Line, Hasegawa, and Masterbox and were modified to achieve the proper forward lean and grasping of the vehicle.

Scratch Building: The base was of course scratch built.  Additional features Stew added were an articulation of the suspension to simulate rear weight bias and wire insulated machine gun barrels. All hooks, clasps, and lift points were a combination of aftermarket and scratch built parts.
