M-24 Chaffee by Chan Jackson

Chan finished Italeri's 1/35th scale M-24 with Tamiya paints and a MIG weathering kit. The building is also Italeri...their church ruin. The figures were a mix of Scale 75, Evolution, and the tank crew from an unknown manufacturer.

As a bit of historical background, the Chaffee entered service in the winter of 1944 and saw action   during the Battle of the Bulge. Because its suspension was radically different than that of the Sherman (and closely resembled that of German tanks) many M-24's were fired upon by American troops.

Chan claims this project as another "Shelf Queen" back in action.
