M46 Patton by Terry McKeown

Terry's Korean War M46 was built from the Takom kit and finished with Tamiya and 3rd Generation AK acrylics and weathered with artist's watercolors.  Both 50 cal machine guns and ammo boxes on the tank are from Academy. The resin stowage is from various companies. The figures are MiniArt (tank commander) and Tamiya (driver.)

 

The base was constructed from foam board covered with drywall filler and bordered with bass wood. Real dirt and rocks were used for the terrain while foliage from various companies was added.  Terry spent about a month on this project.
