Panzerwerfer 42 auf Maultier Sd.Kfz 4/1 by David Blankenship

This is Italeri's 1994 release of the 15cm Panzerwerfer 42 in the markings of a vehicle captured by a  Free French armored unit (1er Groupe Mobile de Reconnaissance/Groupe F.F.I. Besnier)  which was part of the US/French force laying siege to German forces that remained in Lorient and St. Nazaire after most Germans were pushed out of Northern France following the D-Day landings. 

The model was built pretty much out of the box, painted with AMMO by Mig paints, and weathered with oils.

The markings are from Kagero's mini TOPCOLORS 39 Captured Panzers: German Vehicles in Allied Service.  If you can find a copy, Dave highly recommends the book for a slightly different way to finish your German armor.
