Chan built this Hobby Boss Vickers MK II medium tank out-of-the-box including the kit photo etch. The tracks that came with the kit were horrible. They were individual links with no connecting points that were all but impossible to assemble. So, he substituted Tamiya link-and-length tracks he was able to piece together. The vehicle was obsolete when WWII began but six served in Egypt in the early stages of the African Campaign. Chan's diorama depicts one serving duty in England. The base is Verlinden. The figures are from a "Home Front" set by Fog Models; the boy is a figure by Royal Models and works well as the focal point of the scene.
